With shortening days and cooling temperatures, the window to successfully build an outdoor habitat and move a chelonian into a new home has passed. Land Turtles and Tortoises are readying themselves for hibernation/brumation.

Eduardo comes from the St. George, UT area and was once part of a study to determine treatment options for Tortoise mycoplasmosis, an upper respiratory infection. While Eduardo has been free of symptoms for at least a decade, this tortoise cannot be house with any other turtles/tortoises.
